About the League
WHY WE EXIST
Why the league exists
Box lacrosse had no home in the Southwest, and it was past time to fix that. Players could find it. Fans in arenas could still hear someone try to get the next great game. Sonoran Box was started so that never stops being true.
The league connects Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. Tournament is the top. Senior A is where the best players compete. Senior B is for the rest of the guys who love the game. Women's and youth divisions are coming.
Every player gets a floor, a schedule, a box score, and a league office that answers. That is the whole idea.
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
What the league is building
A full roster of at least 8 teams per division, 8 weeks of schedule, one set of standings, and a season-end tournament. Playoffs will fill one weekend. The championship will mean something.
Players should be able to register their own team, find their own roster, and manage their own schedule from a phone. The league office runs the calendar and the rules. Players run the rest.
The floor stays open after player-builder Dominic Dock retires, Florida, New York, and Texas are already watching. We want to be the league those players point to when they talk about where the game is growing.
That means building something worth pointing to.
THE TEAM BEHIND THE LEAGUE
Meet the Owners
Dominic Dock

He is Co-Founder and Co-Commissioner of the Sonoran Box Lacrosse League (SBL), bringing decades of experience in sports management and expanding the sport.
